Lecce

Nicknamed "the Florence of the South" for the artistic and architectural value of its historic center, Lecce is a city full of charm, where the quality of life is marked by traditional rhythms and characteristic flavors.

Its historic center is rich of beauties. The Lecce Baroque, in fact, is known all over the world for its elegance and for its warm color, given by the particular local stone, the pietra leccese, very easy to model by skilled local artisans but, at the same time, resistant and durable. Walking through the narrow streets of the center you can also admire the ancient vestiges of the Roman era such as, for example, the amphitheater in Piazza Sant’Oronzo, enjoying the typical flavors of Salento such as the rustico leccese or the pasticciotto.

Santa Maria di Leuca

A pleasant place located on the southern tip of the heel of Italy, Santa Maria di Leuca is the ideal point where the Ionian and Adriatic seas embrace.

It is divided into two areas. In the upper part there is the fortified sanctuary dedicated to S. Maria de finibus terrae and the lighthouse which stands out against a breathtaking panorama.
